A LITTLE MYSTERY from LIZZIE KATE

Here's two sneak peeks from her new summer offering...A Little Mystery.  The top shows the threads and a folded sampler.  The left, a peek of the bonus.  The project this year is smaller than last years.  Each of the three parts comes with a bonus project.  The entire piece is stitched on 30ct sandstone fabric, but you can choose your count and color, as fabric is not included in this project,  You can use your stash of threads for the project.  It calls for GA Avocado and Hollyberry; WDW Carrot, Verdigris, Chickpea, Oscar Grits, Purple haze and terrapin; and DMC #437, 3354, 3042 and 3768.  Or, we will have the colors available.

An embellishment pack contains goodies for all projects and costs $14.50.  Each part of the design retails for $7.25 each.

The stitch count on the design is 65x161.  The bonus fob is 35x39, the bonus pillow is 49x50 and the mini sampler is 46x79.

Sign up today for the project.  First part ships July 15 and remaining parts ship 8/12 and 9/9.
My deadline for ordering is July 1, so call today to get your summer mystery sampler.

RESERVE YOUR SEAT NOW FOR

our PATTERN TRADE STITCH-IN to be held from 2-8 pm on Saturday June 20.  Kids will be out of school and before you go on vacation, come to the stitch-in and relax.

We will provide a few snacks, but dinner is on you.  Brown bag it for dinner if you want or we will be ordering in around 5pm or taking a run to Wawa.  Come when you want and leave when you want.

The twist to this stitch-in is that you will be able to trade patterns.  We hope  you will limit your trading to 3 patterns but you may want to bring more as you may  even want to trade 2 for 1, or more.

You must RESERVE a seat as seating is limited.  Cost is $5.00 for hours of fun and relaxation.

SHIPPING NEXT WEEK FROM LIZZIE KATE

Here are pics of some of the new items from Lizzie Kate, shipping next week to shops:

Seasons is a chart pack with all 4 seasonal sampler inspired designs.  Stitch all 4 on one piece of fabric OR stitch individually, buy one frame and pop them in and out.  Great way to have 4 pictures at the cost of 1.

Flora is back again with her words of wisdom...Do Small Things with Great Love.  Why not stitch it up for your favorite teen or graduate.

And finally, as everyone already knows, my favorite....Nevermore.  I know she's showing it as a cute pillow, but I can see it as a 'cuff'' on the top of a Halloween stocking.  Done on a larger count, you could use it as decor on a door or wreath.  Note, she's also shown it done on a smaller count fabric and mounted in a Tim Holtz watch which could be hung on your Halloween tree.  By the way, we do carry these watches.  They make great ornies or even a necklace.

2015 STASH TO TREASURE SALE

I almost forgot to post the info here.  I've been trying to keep up with facebook but I feel I'm neglecting the blog and this is the final proof.

Thanks to our contributors of stash and purchasers of new treasures, we will be sending St. Jude's Hospital a total of $1165.00 this year.  YEAH!!!!!

Also, I would like to thank the ladies who helped me get this show together, without them I'd probably be still recuperating from that week.  Many thanks!

WHAT'S NEW...JUST A FEW!

Plum Street Samplers 3 new charts have finally arrived, as seen above...a trio of patriotic designs.

Kathy Barrick is back with This Little Gift.   Another one done on a 40ct fabric, finishing out at about 4x3.  You can always stitch it on a 28 or 32ct fabric of your choice.

Brenda Gervais, With Thy Needle & Thread has Grand Olde Flag and Bluebird Out My Window.  I love this patriotic one and will probably have to stitch it.  The Bluebird Out My Window is finished as a small pillow with a ruffled ribbon trim.

Continuing in the series of Floral Postcards,  June is our latest addition.  These are a great small gift for a friend or co-worker....just pick their birthday month and stitch it up.  Would also look great if finished as a pillow.  May was a bouquet of lily of the valley.  When I was growing up we had a large bed of them outside our living room window and I think this will be a 'must stitch' design.

Dames of the Needle presents Eliza Anne Scott 1847.  It is an adaptation of an antique sampler she owns.  She's added a few things and has taken a slightly modern twist by floating the alphabet and numbers.  Stitched with Gentle Art and Weeks Dye Works threads, on 32ct Peep's Lost Sheep fabric, it finishes at about 5.5 x 9...a nice size.

These are but a few of the new releases that have arrived at the shop today.  Stop in and check them all out.
